I would normally agree in Mut 21 coins the case of paying lip service to social issues without also putting money and support to advocate for change or applying it to the company and their work at the very least. That said police brutality is not just something that a company like EA throwing cash at the issue does much towards fixing. At best they put money towards the attorneys and groups that struggle to see justice after the truth or lobby to get laws changed that at the present government will not. It's systemic difficulties within police of not reporting their particular and holding them accountable rather staying quiet and with the authorities unions that allow it all to happen or in ways even encourage it from the consequences being a slap on the wrist followed by being hired at a different precinct showing them there's no consequences. Before even getting to legislation and rulings like qualified immunity that protect abusive cops and permit them to abuse their power freely. The vast majority of which EA and most capitalist businesses aren't able to do all that much about making it unfair to say they're in the best possible place to do more.

Those at the best possible position to do more would be the supposed good cops by no more staying quiet and enabling bad cops to get away with their abuse of power or voting to get superior direction for their marriages which won't enable the behavior. But of course it is just words. Companies will only ever do these things once public opinion has turned into one way. Because following decades of corporations doing things for the wrong reason, people are very cynical. Part of what people can do is elect politicians who at least promise they'll hold these corporations accountable. It probably won't happen by itself. This could be a lot easier if someone like this may run for office .

Because no matter this sentiment, this is still 100 percent a business and marketing maneuver. If they truly wanted to do something positive, they can do it without advertising their merchandise while doing this. As it's not genuine. This is no different than the coronavirus advertisements. They could have said nothing in any way. That's good. Solidarity or they realize a decent chunk of their audience is obsessed with something more significant than a damn videogame? Man. These comments really highlight the nihilistic nature of reddit users. Yes, this is a provider. Yes, it has something to do with marketing. But Jesus, can not we be happy that companies are saying something? Do you not know just how much of an impact this could make? If the firm ignored the circumstance, it might give every checked out mind the concept that what is happening is ordinary and routine.

EA does not care for people that aren't investors. Eliminating Kaepernick's name from songs in Madden two years in a row reveals it. Businesses don't need you to defend themlet their attorneys do that work. But we should not praise a business for attaining the absolute bare minimum. We ought to praise companies who show patterns of positivity. Feel free to disagree, but please don't behave like this exact instance is this incredibly complicated morally-grey circumstance. I mean I believed there were fairly strict regulations on whose names and likeliness can be used in Madden. Like Belicheck and Payton are not in Madden since they aren't part of the NFLCA and that is who EA has a contract with. They might have to pay Kap if his name is utilized and therefore are likely avoiding that. That and Kap is not just welcome in buy mut coins madden 21 the NFL planet (not speaking about lovers ) anymore.
